Dr Costas Papageorgiou has taught, trained, and supervised
several hundred undergraduate and postgraduate students and
healthcare professionals in the fields of Psychology,
Medicine, Nursing, and Occupational Therapy. He has had
teaching duties at a number of Universities including:
Oxford (1992-1993), Liverpool (1994-1995, 1997-2005),
Liverpool John Moores (1995-2002), Chester (1996-2002),
Manchester (1997-2005), Birmingham (1998-2002), and
Lancaster (2002-2005). Dr Papageorgiou has also been invited
to contribute to newspaper articles, radio, and television
programmes.
Dr Papageorgiou has presented and co-presented numerous
research papers and skills-based workshops at several
scientific meetings, particularly conferences of the
British Psychological Society (BPS),
British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive
Psychotherapies (BABCP),
European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies
(EABCT),
Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies
(ABCT), and
World Congress of Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (WCBCT).
In addition to England, Scotland and Wales, he has
presented/co-presented in Canada (Toronto and Vancouver),
Croatia (Crikvenica), Czech Republic (Prague), Denmark
(Copenhagen), Germany (Dresden), Greece (Thessaloniki),
Ireland (Cork), Italy (Grosseto and Venice), Spain
(Barcelona), and the United States of America (New Orleans,
